I still hate it (because my eyes aren't glued to the reticle), but that's a really cool effect that definitely has its place. I can totally see that working in a horror game. In that case, it wouldn't be annoying anymore, it would be a mechanic.

I know this is an older video, but what about adding a VR mode where the hat is a headset for the cat, since you have already done the whole 3d effect you can just use that to have a VR mode that instead of just doing red and blue or green and blue pushes the image to left and right on the VR headset

I'm not sure I'd consider digicams/anything with a CCD sensor "film like" - they were derided by film photographers at the time... for not looking like film. They do definitely have their own charm, though.

Drop that shit as a music video to a shoegaze song, and you've got yourself a winner.
